Create a pencil-sketch effect

1. On the workspace or in the picture list, select the objects or grouped objects you want to modify.
   
   
2. Convert the object to grayscale.
   
   
3. On the Effects menu, click Designer Effects.
   
   
4. In the gallery, click Colored Pencil.
   
   
5. At the top of the workpane, click Settings (Colored Pencil), and then enter these values:
   • Transparency: 0%
     
     
   • Pencil width: 4
     
     
   • Stroke pressure: 8
     
     
   • Paper brightness: 50
     
     
   • Paper color: White
6. On the Color menu, click Brightness and Contrast.
   
   
7. In the Color workpane, click Automatic.

Tip You can vary your results by adjusting the settings for the Colored Pencil effect.
